This article introduces an auxiliary tool used in a vertical anodizing electrophoresis production line for aluminum profiles , including the structure of a double-headed vertical fixture and its application in production.

Background technology:

When performing surface treatments such as oxidation , coloring , and electrophoresis on aluminum alloy profiles, clamps are needed to hold and fix the profiles and apply the coating by applying an electric current.  

Existing fixtures are inefficient and inconvenient for daily maintenance when clamping and producing solar photovoltaic materials with small internal cavities and aluminum alloy profiles with wide cross sections.

Double-headed clamp structure and production applications:

This utility model features a vertical clamp with a double-clamping point design. It is made of 316 stainless steel, titanium alloy, copper plate, tin bronze, or a high-corrosion-resistant alloy using a special process. The materials for the vertical clamp can be selected according to the actual production process of the aluminum enterprise. The specific structure consists of: ① main conductive mounting plate ② conductive copper cup ③ clamp seat ④ pull rod ⑤ gear ⑥ connecting piece ⑦ copper head ⑧ spring, as shown in Figure 1.

When using the vertical double-headed clamp, install it at proportional intervals on the copper conductive base of the conductive beam in the vertical anodizing production line. The conductive copper cups of the clamp contact the surface of the copper conductive base. Open the clamp's lever manually or mechanically. During aluminum profile loading, insert one end of the profile into the conductive copper head of the clamp's fixing component and the gear locking mechanism according to process requirements. The gear locking mechanism combines springs, levers, and the self-locking principle of the gear's surface angle teeth, effectively clamping and fixing the aluminum profile. This prevents displacement and falling of the profile due to the crane entering or exiting the process slot during production. When the aluminum profile needs to be unloaded after processing, manually opening the lever handle separates the profile from the double-headed vertical clamp. This process can also be automated using a pneumatic opening and closing mechanism or a roller lifting conveyor to automate the loading and unloading of aluminum profiles for surface treatment.

Precautions during use:

1.  Fixtures are production auxiliary tools. During the disassembly and assembly process, attention should be paid to the standardized management of storage during turnover. Employees should also be trained to perform visual self-inspection during normal use and check their status at any time.

2.  Considering the process and safety performance of the fixture, the impurities on the surface of the fixture should be cleaned regularly to keep the fixture clean and tidy.

3.  The fixture itself is composed of various standard and general-purpose parts, with a small proportion of special-purpose parts. Therefore, sufficient spare parts should be prepared during maintenance.
